another sleepness night. somehow my grandpa just came back from his drinking session with his friends. i wasnt afraid of him. i dunno why. ( maybe in the past, i had to listen to my grandma and sleep early). He sat down where he usually sits. Out of curiosity, i asked him this qns

"ah gong, do u believe in fortune telling?"

it must be a qns hidden inside my heart for very long. i was expecting a straight yes or no from him. guess what, he suddenly gave a loud shout,

"NEVER GO TO FORTUNE TELLER U FOOL!"

i continued asking him why not? ( actually deep in my heart, i dislike fortune tellers ).

He ignored me. but the next minute, he went on to say that his grandfather ( whose is my great great grand father ) was a fortune teller.

amazing right?
he even dare to say " out of 100 fortune tellers, 99 r cons. they think they know, but they actually dunnoe any fuck about the future" ( yes , he said that f word )
He hate fortune tellers. ( and i don think he is trying to say he hates his grandpa, but just the profession alone)

just as i was about to stand up and applause..
he said smth abt three biggest religions, Muslim, Christians and Buddhists.
and i guess i shall not elaborate on the content. It was smth abt not believing any religions.
He preached to me that we should believe in ourselves and he claimed that free thinker is the best religion.

anyway, i didnt rebut. i see no point. in fact, i admire those who have strong beliefs in their religion. I admire their faith. i admire their courage n their decision. i admire how they respect other religions.

and the people who i admire the most are those who cast their pride at one side, gather up the courage to walk down the alley and den to the front, ready to give their hearts to one and only One. They didnt question, they didnt criticise, they didnt doubt, they didnt consider long.. it is not because they r ignorant or they are easily sweeped by words, but it is because their hearts have been touched by that unexplained atmosphere n love around them. Those tears are not out of being emotional. Those steps they take are not out of impulse. It is just a moment of putting everything at one side and make the most important decision in their lives.
i'm glad to be one of them.
Thank you Jesus.

thank you niven for showing genuine concern. i didnt expect u're the one.
you're the only one who truly asked about the things going on in my life.
i guess i had enough of people bugging me to go church, enough of those who put me down during my toughest time, enough of those who didnt want to listen n just want to preach.

sorry jamie. i must be a fool to ignore ur message. trust me, i didnt mean it. i was just too disappointed with myself n i know i have disappointed you. i wanted to be alone in that period and i forgot to reply. so many things have happened, many childish decisions i have made.i was so tired of explaining about my situation. i thought i could handle it all alone. but i was utterly wrong.

thank you kevin. ur lively tone in that tag really made my day. i felt no pressure and i really miss you! hope to see u really soon. take care okay?

just as i am disappointed with myself, i am disappointed with other people as well. no point raking up.
